You Can Now Play with Blocks in VR with New Mixed Reality Features

VR puzzle Cubism is available for Quest 3.

Exercising your brain with blocks has just become more accessible and engaging as Cubism, a fun VR puzzle game by Thomas Van Bouwel, got support for Quest 3 and new mixed reality features.

Cubism offers 90 puzzles, which "will put your spatial thinking skills to the test." The game tracks your hands, so moving cubes feels surprisingly real.

And now you can challenge yourself by setting up complex shapes out of colorful blocks using Meta's latest device and enjoy two fresh experimental MR features that will make your experience even more immersive.

It has already had mixed reality support, but the latest update adds Quest’s Space Setup to the game to "further integrate the game’s puzzles with your real environment" and "bring in your actual table or desk into the game and snap the puzzle on top of it," as reported by UploadVR. This should help game elements work with your surroundings better.

There is also Puzzle Persistence, which uses Quest’s Spatial Anchors to make sure your puzzles are where you left them last time when you load Cubism.

The Quest 3 update improves resolution through an enhanced render scale and adds a new recenter button for the most comfortable experience you can have.
