Zelda-Inspired 3D Indie Platformer Gets a New Demo

Studio Pixel Punk shared a new demo for its upcoming low poly platformer game.

Tiani Pixel, a Game Developer at Studio Pixel Punk and one of the creative minds behind the 2021 pixel art action RPG UNSIGHTED, has just unveiled a new gameplay demo providing one more look at the studio's upcoming Unity-based platformer game inspired by early 3D The Legend of Zelda games and Mega Man Legends.

In the demo, we get to see the main character exploring a Zelda-style low-poly dungeon, engaging in combat with the dungeon's inhabitants, and solving simple puzzles. Additionally, the demo provides a sneak peek at some of the game's movement mechanics, its user interface, and the visual effects crafted by the team.

Previously, the developer also showcased a neat Shadow of the Colossus-style gameplay mechanic that lets the players climb on top of gigantic mechanical beasts using a combination of stylish jumps, dashes, and flips, as well as a grappling hook:
