Luana, Basilisk Huntress 

Character Design of Luana the Basilisk huntress. My main source of inspirations are the tribes from Papua New Guinea and the Amazon. 
I also thought it would be interesting for her to use smoke as a means to draw out / confuse her target like beekeepers would. Her outfit is also clad with both dragon parts and feathers, which I imagine to be from a Phoenix (based on Birds-of-Paradise in Papua New Guinea), the natural predator and enemy of the Basilisk - an intimidation tactic.

Weapon Design - Coastal Tribe
 

Concepts of daggers which might be made by a coastal tribe who are a little more sophisticated, which we can see in the ornate handles and trinkets. They also make use of natural materials available in a coastal environment like hardwood, animal bone and coastal rocks. I took inspiration from Moari, Mayan and Moroccan cultures.
