3D Animator Simulates Thousand of Balls in Blender

It took the artist 12 hours to render the simulation.

A few days ago, 3D Animator and Founder of AndesAnimations Nicky Kolk wowed thousands of people by showcasing "Did I add enough balls?", an absolutely astonishing 3D simulation that depicts myriads of white balls cascading from train cars and creating a mesmerizing flood across the floor of a digital metro station.

Set up in Blender, the project was created as a rigid body simulation, a type of simulation specifically designed to replicate the motion of solid objects. According to the artist, the entire project, from inception to completion, demanded a total of 20 hours, with rendering alone accounting for 12 hours.
