3D Artist Creates a Crocodile Eye Animation With Maya & ZBrush

Massimo Righi showcased a new lifelike animation and shared some still renders and WIP shots.

3D Creature Artist Massimo Righi, whose incredibly realistic digital animals impressed us on multiple occasions in the past, has recently showcased a series of renders and work-in-progress shots featuring a stunning new beast. This time, the creator has crafted a remarkable 3D crocodile model and even animated the eye of the reptile as part of an animation test. According to the artist, the model was created using Maya and ZBrush and rendered with Arnold.

Earlier, Massimo also presented a realistic tiger portrait groomed with Yeti – a tool for creating fur, feathers, and procedural geometry:
