Compared to a mouse, trackballs have other significant benefits: they minimize hand movement, which can help reduce strain on the wrist and arm, a common concern for artists, including digital ones.

3D Artist Nanka Tsukurouyo showcased their progress on a custom keyboard called ShapeKey46, designed to enhance modeling efficiency with minimal hand movement. This keyboard features dual trackballs and includes detachable magnetic legs for improved stability.
