3D Artist Recreates Titanfall 2's Ion Using Blender

Have a look at this highly detailed rigged 3D recreation of Ion, a Titan class from Respawn Entertainment Titanfall 2, showcased recently by 3D Modeler and Hard-Surface Artist Ophelia, also known as Lia Lia.

Described as the artist's second-favorite Titan, with Northstar taking the top spot, this take on Ion is currently a work in progress, with Ophelia noting that while the eye system is already well-developed and the left side, face, and top cameras have bones and drivers in place, the model's side panels still require some additional refinement. As for the software, the artist utilized Blender, a popular open-source 3D software, to model and rig the Titan.
