3D Artists Turned Japanese Hobby Shop Into 3DGS And Displayed In UE5

Take a walk in a virtual version of Fuji Kyozai in Ehime prefecture.

The remarkable efficiency and fidelity of 3DGS or 3D Gaussian Splatting make it an ideal tool for rapid visualizations, transforming 3D capturing and rendering, creating plenty of exciting opportunities for the industry. 

Studio Duckbill, specializing in photogrammetry, explored the features of the newly released plug-in for Unreal Engine 5.4 by Postshot, a wildly popular tool known for its local Radiance Field training. The artists turned Fuji Kyozai, a hobby shop in the Japanese prefecture Ehime, into a 3D Gaussian Splat and visualized it in Unreal Engine 5:
