3D Asset Streaming Platform Miris Launches Public Beta
Stream high-fidelity 3D content to any device instantly without downloads.
Miris, a 3D streaming infrastructure provider, has launched the public beta of its new 3D asset streaming platform. The platform allows users to upload a 3D asset and stream it instantly to any device in high quality, with costs comparable to video streaming. This opens up a wide range of possibilities, from retail product configurators and architectural visualization to digital twins and interactive retail experiences.
According to the developers, rather than sending fully rendered pixels, which would demand GPU resources for every user, or entire asset files that require downloads and compression, Miris uses adaptive spatial streaming to achieve sub-second load times and horizontal scaling. The platform also prepares assets for on-demand delivery, transmitting only the necessary geometry and texture data in real-time.

With its public beta launch, Miris can make even large 3D assets load almost instantly, a 500MB product model can appear and respond just as quickly as a simple 5MB scene. The platform can also support large numbers of users without extra GPU costs, making it more affordable and easier to scale than traditional pixel streaming.
Developers with beta access can try Miris using sample assets or their own 3D content. There's also detailed documentation to guide you through the entire process.
