3DCoat 2022.12 Released

Pilgway has released 3DCoat 2022.12, the latest version of the company's digital sculpting program. For those unaware, 3DCoat is designed to create organic and hard surfaced 3D models. It has tools that enable users to sculpt, add polygonal topology, create UV maps, texture the resulting models with natural painting tools, and render static images or animated turntable movies.

This new update is a part of the tool's 2022 line of updates, the company steadily upgrades 3DCoat and adds new features and improvements every couple of days. The 2022.12 version of the tool comes with the new Factures Baking feature and multiple bugfixes.

Previously, with the 2022.10 update, Pilgway added a new Core API which enabled users to extend or customize 3DCoat’s functionality with “the full native speed of C++”. The company has also added a new Bevel tool designed to create complex stepped bevels on hard-surface models via a customizable profile curve, as well as new Copy Paste, Transform Copy, and Clone Stamp tools.
