On The Spot Development is hiring a Motion Designer with Unity proficiency to join the Poland-based team of Supersonic from Unity, which builds tools and creative assets for mobile game promotion, including high-performing ads.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in motion design
  • 1-2 years of experience in the mobile games industry
  • Hands-on experience with Unity, as well as tools like After Effects, Photoshop, Blender (or similar 3D tools)
  • Experience using AI tools for creative production, with examples in portfolio
  • Good level of English (international team environment)

Animation Systems Developer/Technical Animator at Visionary Studios (Contract)

Visionary Studios is developing Responding, an open-world emergency services simulator built in Unreal Engine 5 and already live on Steam, set in a New York-inspired environment. They're looking for an Animation Systems Developer / Technical Animator to help build and own the animation framework for both characters and vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Has strong experience with Unreal Engine (AnimBlueprints, Control Rig, IK setups)
  • Thinks in systems, not just animations (Data Driven)
  • Is comfortable bridging animation, gameplay, and technical implementation
  • Can take ownership of features and propose solutions
  • Has experience with physics-driven or procedural animation (big plus)

Combat/Technical Designer at Sauce Studios (KAREN, Contract, Remote)

Sauce Studios is building the combat for a demo of KAREN, a third-person action comedy where you play as a Karen destroying a mall. 

Perfect candidate:

  • Lives in Unreal Blueprints, can prototype solo 
  • Shipped or seriously prototyped action/character-action combat 
  • Has comedy instincts. The slap has to be funny, not just a hit. 
  • Available for live playtests 

Senior UI Technical Designer at Blizzard Entertainment (Temp, Unannounced Game)

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a Senior UI Technical Designer to help craft a new, unannounced game. The role is based in the United States.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional game development experience, focused on UI design, technical design, or UI implementation, including shipping at least one AAA game with significant UI scope. 
  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and iterating on UI systems directly in a game engine. 
  • Strong understanding of modern game UI architecture, workflows, and best practices, with experience supporting scalable and maintainable systems. 
  • Hands-on experience with Unity UI systems, including UI Builder, layout tools, data-driven UI concepts, and visual scripting or similar tools. 
  • Solid scripting ability (e.g., C#, Lua, or equivalent) to support UI systems and behaviors when needed. 
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, particularly related to UI implementation, performance, and stability. 
  • Proven experience collaborating across disciplines, including design, engineering, art, and audio. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-engineers. 
  • A designer-first mindset, strong ownership mentality, and a collaborative approach when working in ambiguous, evolving technical environments 

Senior Technical Animator at Epic Games

Epic Games is searching for a Senior Technical Animator with a passion for expressive character movement to work within the Cinematics team.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience rigging characters in the Unreal Engine
  • A portfolio demonstrating rigging for a range of characters, bipeds, and creatures, both body and faces
  • Attention to aesthetic detail, especially with regard to character deformation and physics movement
  • Familiarity with the Unreal Engine 5 art pipeline
  • Positive individual with strong written communication and teamwork skills
  • Exceptional problem-solver
  • Experience developing character pipelines and tools

Lead Technical Artist at Ubisoft

Reporting directly to the Technical Director, the Lead Technical Artist is responsible for research, innovation, and the technical quality of the production.

Qualifications:

  • A solid experience as a Technical Artist, ideally on AAA or AA productions, ideally on a multiplayer shooter game.
  • You have worked on various world-building topics such as level art, lighting, props, level design, landscapes, water, etc.;
  • You have strong technical skills in performance, optimization, and workflow;
  • You are proficient in at least one 3D modeling software (Blender, 3DS Max, Substance Designer, Maya, etc.);
  • You have solid scripting skills (Maxscript, Python, etc.); experience with node-based visual scripting languages is a plus;
  • You have significant experience with a game engine (Unreal Engine, Unity, proprietary engine, etc.) and a comprehensive understanding of realistic art workflows and pipelines;
  • You are versatile, with a solid understanding of world-building challenges, strong synthesis skills, and excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to work effectively in a team and communicate your ideas;
  • Your command of English allows you to work in an international environment and collaborate with non-French-speaking peers.

Character Art External Development Manager at Insomniac Games

Insomniac Games is looking for a Character Art External Development Manager, who will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of character art assets produced by external development vendors.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in character art production within AAA game development, film, or equivalent industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing external development vendors, including writing asset briefs and conducting formal reviews.
  • Shipped at least one AAA title with significant external development involvement preferred.
