Environment Concept Artist at FromSoftware

At the studio behind Dark Souls and Elden Ring, you will create 2D images with a focus on environment design, plan out game space based on the core concept, and provide suggestions for scene staging. The work will not simply be drawing environments: you will be required to understand core game concepts and offer designs/suggestions for scene production, including choreography.

Qualifications: 

  • Experience as an Environment Concept Artist.
  • Either a graduation certificate from university (graduate school), or 10 years of work experience relating to art or graphic design (any period of time studying art or graphic design at school may be included under work experience.)

Requirements:

  • Worked on at least one AAA game in a Lead or Principal Concept Artist role.
  • Portfolio that demonstrates a range of styles, creativity, and craftsmanship.
  • Effective leader, collaborator, and problem solver, able to coordinate with internal and external teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to accurately estimate tasks and maintain schedules.
  • Strong communication skills and understanding of various art disciplines (animation, character, environment, VFX).
  • Excellent traditional artistic skills with a strong grasp of composition, anatomy, color theory, perspective, lighting, environment, architectural, character, costume, and graphic design.
  • 7 + years of experience in the game industry working in AAA game development.
  • You’re user-focused, passionate, solutions-focused, and innovative.

Senior 3D Artist at Netflix

Netflix is seeking a skilled and versatile Senior 3D Artist with expertise in 3D modeling, technical art, VFX, animation, and more. In this role, you'll craft high-quality, engaging assets for a third-person, non-violent MMO. You'll be responsible for transforming prototype features into polished player experiences, working on models, materials, asset kits, blueprints, particle systems, and other essential elements of the entire art pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of game art experience.
  • Experience in Blender.
  • Prior experience working with Unreal's Niagara.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates solid environment art experience in stylized colorful worlds.
  • Prior experience working with modular assets/kits.
  • The ability to create assets quickly, without thorough art direction or concepts.
  • Experience implementing assets and working within game config files.

Lead UI Artist at Rocksteady

Rocksteady is looking for a Lead UI Artist. The ideal candidate will possess both experience with and passion for creating high-quality user interfaces that enable an intuitive, accessible, and enjoyable gameplay experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Able to demonstrate exceptional knowledge and application of UX.
  • Accessibility & player-focused design principles – through work in complex game projects, ideally with AAA targets.
  • Demonstrable professional graphic design skills – particularly layout, typography, and colour theory application.
  • Proficient experience in a AAA games leadership role.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Figma and Adobe software for 2D Design.
  • Knowledge of current interaction and design trends in Games, particularly across PC & Console titles.
  • Direct experience working within a AAA game engine.
