- Has strong illustration and cartography skills, with experience in high-quality, detailed maps for games, fantasy worlds, or similar projects.
- Is able to create maps that are artful and engaging, not purely functional or schematic.

Lead UI Artist at CD PROJEKT RED
CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Lead UI Artist to bring immersive and visually striking user interfaces to life in Cyberpunk 2. As a Lead UI Artist, you will play an important role in defining and maintaining the visual language of our UI, ensuring it not only fits the Cyberpunk aesthetic but also enhances gameplay and player immersion.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a UI artist in the games industry, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in crafting UI for AAA titles and maintaining a cohesive art style.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Figma, or other relevant software.
- Strong artistic sense, with the ability to balance creative, stylized aesthetics and user-centered functionality.

Here, you will create high-quality environment assets optimized for real-time rendering, collaborate with Level Designers and other artists to build out levels and environments within the engine editor, keep current with best practices and art creation workflows, and partner with Technical Artists to define workflows and provide best practices documentation.
Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience creating high-quality environment art for games/film.
- Expertise with standard 2D and 3D applications (Photoshop, Substance 3D Painter, Maya, ZBrush).

Requirements:
- B.A. in fine arts or relevant curriculum, or equivalent skillset
- 1-3 years of industry or related experience
- A demo reel that demonstrates strong knowledge of fundamental cinematography principles
- Background in photography or cinematography
- Skilled in conveying framing ideas using rough storyboards
- High level of proficiency in Maya

You will work directly with art leadership to help visualize and develop visual targets, take ownership of a specialized artistic area of a product’s development, lead members of the art production team in the assigned project, and create visual assets for game development products that meet required direction and quality specifications.
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of professional experience in game development.
- Proven artistic and technical skills in 3D and or 2D art production.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate the technique to other members of the team.
- Experienced with game development pipelines and game engines (e.g., Unreal, Unity, or a proprietary engine)
