We’re deep into development on Mortal Shell II, the next chapter in our acclaimed action-RPG franchise. We’re expanding our world-building and art team to support the creation of a rich, immersive in-game map. The game features a complex world, and we’re looking for a cartographer and illustrator who’s excited to collaborate, craft, and help bring this world to life with high-quality, detailed, and visually striking maps.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has strong illustration and cartography skills, with experience in high-quality, detailed maps for games, fantasy worlds, or similar projects.
  • Is able to create maps that are artful and engaging, not purely functional or schematic.
  • Is familiar with dark-fantasy aesthetics.
  • Is an expert with digital art tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar) and delivering high-resolution, layered files.
  • Possesses a strong sense of composition, color, and thematic storytelling.
  • Appreciates collaboration and incorporates feedback from a multidisciplinary team.

Junior Environment Artist at BANDAI NAMCO

You will create high-quality, accurate low-polygon 3D models and textures, develop high-poly sculpts and textures for 3D game arts, and utilize 3D modeling, mapping, texturing, and lighting techniques to create visual elements.

Job Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in gaming or related field.

As a Senior Concept Artist, you will be a creative force driving our vision for a new science-fiction game. Collaborating closely with the Game Director and Art Director, you will explore visual ideas that will define the look and then develop those ideas from sketches to polished pieces ready to be used in production. Initial work will involve ideation on the fundamentals of the setting, and later, the role will transition to defining game-specific concepts. 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in videogames, TV, or film 
  • A portfolio showcasing your experience with sci-fi concepts of characters, objects, environments, ships, and creatures 
  • A passion for science fiction and a talent for producing original creative ideas  
  • Ability to use 3D software as part of your workflow

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Character Artist in the creative industries
  • Expert knowledge of character modeling, sculpting, and texturing pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of human and creature anatomy, form, and proportions.
  • Strong proficiency in ZBrush, Maya or Blender, and Substance 3D Painter.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, realistic character art
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

At the studio, you will follow the core game concept in order to create 2D images for environments, objects, and characters, as well as create various designs for in-game imagery.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Concept Artist (able to draw environments/scenery, and design the game world setting based on an understanding of the core concept).
  • Either a graduation certificate from university (graduate school) or any related work experience.

Senior UI Artist at Naughty Dog

We’re looking for a Senior UI Artist who thrives on crafting UI that’s functional, minimal, and deeply integrated into our game’s narrative. You’ll take ownership of the visual identity of our user interface – setting the bar for polish, clarity, and immersive design.

You’ll develop a robust UI Art Bible, design and animate complete HUD and menus, and deliver clear, context-rich mock-ups that communicate exactly how the UI supports gameplay. This is a role for someone who actively seeks out the information they need, collaborating directly with Design, Art, and Engineering to turn ideas into elegant, practical solutions that enhance the player experience from start to finish.

What Skills You Will Use:

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI Artist in game development, with a portfolio that demonstrates shipped AAA titles or highly polished work in a senior role
  • Confirmed experience developing and maintaining UI style guides or art bibles
  • Strong visual design fundamentals in typography, layout, iconography, and motion.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, functional UI that’s cohesive with the game’s world and narrative.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills and a collaborative, cross-disciplinary approach
  • Experience coordinating or providing feedback for external artists or outsource partners is a plus.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design and animation tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, After Effects)
  • Familiarity with game engines (Unreal, Unity, or equivalent) and implementation workflows
