A Bloodborne-Inspired Racing Game Has Got a Release Date

Lilith Walther has shared a new trailer providing an update on Bloodborne Kart.

Game Developer and the creator of a fan-made Bloodborne PSX demake, Lilith Walther, has shared a new trailer announcing the release date of Bloodborne Kart, an upcoming racing game with PlayStation 1-like graphics that lets you race through the dark and gloomy streets of Yharnam.

For those unaware, the idea of Bloodborne Kart was initially conceived as an April Fools' Day prank, which gave rise to fan art, mods, and a plethora of memes back in 2017. According to the developers, their fan-made Bloodborne Kart game represents the natural culmination of a six-year communal art project.

With the new trailer, the devs revealed that the game will be released on January 31, 2024, and, unlike the original Bloodborne, will be available on PC via itch.io. Moreover, the team provided some insightful details about the game itself, saying that Bloodborne Kart will feature 12 racers with distinct vehicles, ranging from traditional karts to motorcycles and wheelchairs, 16 maps, a full single-player campaign mode, boss fights, a local split-screen multiplayer, and the VS Battle mode.
