A City Inside a Crack in This Fast-Paced Indie Game Featuring Giant Machines

Indie developer PyroLith reveals a secret scene inside the megastructure.

It’s only half a month since PyroLith proved themselves to be beyond brilliant with the addition of the fishing mechanic to V.A. Proxy, a parry-focused hack n slack indie game. Fans are spoiled by the astonishing designs of the game, and its latest demo is too good now to miss out.

Unlike the usual showcase of cool combats and movements, the new footage portrays the wall market, which the developer describes the location as “a city inside a crack in a foundational wall that stretch for over a mile illuminated by the spine of something even longer, one of the many missable locations.” As the controllable character runs through this mysterious area filled with giant mechs, it suddenly equips itself with a fast-moving wheel, leaving sparks behind as it scratches the ground.

Notably, PyroLith has mentioned that beyond the fast-paced combats, they also placed great emphasis on immersive level design and environments, which play a major role in the game. However, they decide not to show them off too much, which is a smart move that allows these gems to be found and visited by players themselves in the game.
