The toolset was created by João Desager and is available for free.
Technical/Environment Artist João Desager has announced the release of Miter Box 0.0.5, a new and improved version of the developer's toolset for Blender designed to make accurate poly modeling, a type of modeling that involves constructing the models out of polygons, quicker and easier.
The newly-launched version of the toolset comes with a complex Align Face tool, which includes three separate modes – Slide, for moving vertices along connected edges/faces with respect to the rotation, Rotate, for rotating around the highlighted edge, and Project, for projecting vertices along base orientation to match rotation. Furthermore, the update adds the ability to customize the colors used for tool UI via Addon Preferences.
