Seven animation studios will use their unique styles to tell new Star Wars stories.
Disney shared the first look at an upcoming animation anthology from seven Japanese anime studios set in the Star Wars universe. The "Visions" is set to launch on September 22 on Disney+.
Kamikaze Douga, Geno Studio (Twin Engine), Studio Colorido (Twin Engine), Trigger, Kinema Citrus, Science Saru, and Production IG joined the project to tell their own story, each with a signature animation and storytelling style.
Here are the shorts that will be included in the anthology:
- Kamikaze Douga - The Duel
- Geno Studio (Twin Engine) - Lop and Ochō
- Studio Colorido (Twin Engine) - Tatooine Rhapsody
- Trigger - The Twins
- Trigger - The Elder
- Kinema Citrus - The Village Bride
- Science Saru - Akakiri
- Science Saru - T0-B1
- Production IG - The Ninth Jedi
