The Witcher 4 Received First Stunning Tech Demo

UPD: CD Projekt Red has officially confirmed that The Witcher 4's showcase at State of Unreal 2025 featured no actual gameplay and was only meant to demonstrate the tech powering the game.

Original article: One of the highlights of today's State of Unreal event in Orlando was the long-anticipated The Witcher 4 showcase, featuring cutting-edge technology set to drive CD Projekt Red's most ambitious game yet.

Built on Unreal Engine 5.6, the tech demo follows the new protagonist, Ciri, as she explores some forests and a city. It reportedly runs at 60 FPS on a base model PS5, with ray tracing enabled. Check out the clips below:

CDPR will release the full presentation later today, giving everyone a chance to experience the showcase, but in the meantime, here are some screenshots:
