A Look at How Houdini Was Used for Love, Death+Robots

Jakub Vondra shared some examples of how Houdini was used to create the Mason's Rats episode.

Senior 3D Environment Artist Jakub Vondra has shared a behind-the-scenes look at how Houdini was used to create some of the environments in Love, Death+Robots' Mason's Rats episode. Jakub was responsible for creating the exterior, except for the buildings, windmills, and wood fences, and used a combination of Blender and Houdini to set up the scene. The artist demonstrated how procedurally generated geometry was used to create three types of trees and a stone wall.
