A Neat Combat System Made For a Unity-Powered Indie Game

AliceLoverdrive has offered a behind-the-scenes look at Riddle of Steel, an upcoming game with a stunning art style.

Wowing hundreds of people over on Reddit, Indie Game Developer Alyssa Bayraktarqyzy, also known as AliceLoverdrive, has recently shared a behind-the-scenes look at Riddle of Steel, an upcoming fighting game currently in early development.

With a new demo, the author offered a sneak peek at the game's fighting gameplay and animations, demonstrating Riddle of Steel's block, deflect, dodge, and parry mechanics, as well as the cleverly named "face block", a.k.a. getting hit. Additionally, the new demo highlighted the game's unusual black-and-white graphics, resembling an art style similar to that of Japanese manga. According to the creator, the upcoming game is powered by Unity.

And here's an earlier demo shared by Alice over on YouTube:

At the moment, the details about the game are pretty scarce, so we highly recommend following Alice on Reddit and YouTube so as not to miss any upcoming updates.
