Here's a cool plug-in that acts as a more convenient alternative to PureRef.

3D Artist and Game Developer Francesco Piacenti, a.k.a. FR3NKD, has released Blender Board, a new add-on for Blender that serves as a convenience/speed-focused alternative to PureRef and adds a reference board directly to the software.
