The recently-delayed game by Pearl Abyss has reportedly got a new gameplay trailer.
Crimson Desert, an upcoming open-world action-adventure and action RPG being developed by a South Korean game studio Pearl Abyss, who previously developed an MMORPG Black Desert Online, has reportedly got a new gameplay trailer. In this trailer, the developers showcased how particles are going to work in the upcoming game, how seasons are going to change, and other great visual effects.
For those unaware, Crimson Desert was originally planned as a prequel to Black Desert Online but the development of the game eventually transformed into something else and the game changed to a single-player game set in the same universe. The game uses Pearl Abyss' proprietary game engine.
In July 2021 the developer has announced the delay of the game to "...dedicate more time to adding new ideas for an even deeper, more enriching game," and "to create the best possible experience, all the while ensuring the health and safety of everyone involved in delivering the game."
