A New Geometry Nodes Setup For Creating Ropes

The artist has also shown the node graph behind the project.

Here's one more amazing Blender project created by 3D Artist Miettinen Jesse, a.k.a. Blenderesse, using Geometry Nodes. This time, the artist unveiled a cool setup that allows you to create realistic-looking ropes wrapped around a soft object. According to the artist, the setup is extremely simple and is based on the Proximity node, one of the Geometry Nodes that can compute the closest location on the target geometry.

    its garbage dude. you sold it to me for 0 bucks and made me register on two sites just so I could see a screenshot of a node. not even a file.
