The artist utilized Geometry Nodes to set up this beautiful generator.
Archviz and Add-On Maker Antoine Bagattini impresses us yet again with one more cool project made with Blender. This time, the artist has managed to set up a working ivy generator that can create two different types of vines – with and without leaves. To create it, the author utilized Geometry Nodes in Blender 3.4, an upcoming version of the software currently in Alpha. What's more, the developer plans to make this project purchasable once Blender 3.4 is officially released in December 2022.
In case you missed it, Antoine also recently released BagaPie V7, a new and improved version of BagaPie Modifier and BagaPie Assets. For those unaware, BagaPie Modifier is a free jack-of-all-trades-type add-on that includes parametric presets, scattering tools, random arrays, and more. BagaPie Assets is an extension that contains 340+ environment assets that are fully integrated into Modifier's workflow.
