The developer of the acclaimed Buildify library Pavel Oliva has released a new mid-poly modular desert kit that can be used for games, films, or prototyping. Compatible with multiple software, the kit contains multiple textures, materials, a fabric atlas with multiple pattern variants, and 20+ unique modular assets, providing you with an extensive toolset that will allow you to diversify any desert scene and make it more immersive.
Please note that the kit's shaders work only in Blender. If you want to use features like vertex painting or triplanar noise in any other software, you have to set that up by yourself.
Features:
- 23 unique modular assets + 6 vertex painted variants + up to 16 fabric shed variants
- 512+ texel density, PBR materials
- Vertex-paint-ready material
- Tertiary triplanar projected texture that will make each model different
- Compatible with Buildify
- Trim material with multiple wood and metal textures for further asset creation
- Fabric atlas with multiple pattern variants
The kit is completely free to be used in both personal and commercial projects. In the future, the developer plans to add more props or different desert building styles. You can learn more and download the modular desert kit here.
