A New Patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 Adds Colour-Blind Mode

The fourth patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 also allows for visual customization of hirelings upon recruitment and more.

Larian has released a new patch for Baldur's Gate 3 that adds a color-blind mode and even allows players to take a well-deserved bath finally.

Among the highlights is the ability to dismiss dead avatars to Withers' Wardrobe. Withers will explain to players how the wardrobe works.

Also, the patch allows you to customize hirelings' appearance when recruiting them so that's okay if you don't like them at first.

The main thing is the color-blind mode. Larian added a setting to the Accessibility tab that allows players to choose protanopia, deuteranopia, or tritanopia. "This affects the colors used to distinguish factions and relations: map and minimap icons, portrait frames, and character outlines and circles," noted the team.

And yes, you now have a sponge and soap so you can wash away both dirt and blood, including clown makeup. You can find the full list of changes here

In other news, Larian has recently pointed out a mistake in the latest South Park episode, saying you can transfer Baldur's Gate 3 saves between PC and PS5. Learn more here.
