A New Tool For Editing Video Footage in Blender

Check out this great operator made by Sebastian König that allows you to edit parts of video footage.

Blender Artist Sebastian König revealed Tracking: Image "Image from Plane Marker" operator, an amazing Blender-made operator that can create an image from pixels that the active plane track "sees" at the current frame and sets it as the plane track's image, allowing to create unwarped texture from a billboard from the footage. In other words, the tool allows you to take an image from video footage, edit it, and then re-project it back to the footage with updated content. The operator is available from a Plane Track Image context menu, as well as from the Track menu.
