A Procedural Building System Made With Blender's Geometry Nodes

Art Director Julien Gauthier has shown a cool Geometry Nodes-powered system that can create a variety of houses.

Each passing day, Geometry Nodes-powered projects amaze as more and more. 3D Artists and Game Developers continue to create breathtaking projects using the powerful nodes introduced with Blender 3.0. One of these artists is Art Director Julien Gauthier, who demonstrated an outstanding procedural building system made using the nodes.

According to the artist, the shader assignment controls the look of the faces and adds ledges. Edge Creasing Value is used to add pillars. The slope roof depends on the face inclination. The demonstration video embedded above shows that it is possible to create entire cities using the system. The architectural style will be similar, but the individual buildings will look very distinct.
