A Stylish Short Car Film with Picturesque Locations Made with Blender

A splendid project by Daniel Vesterbaek.

This cinematic video with beautiful, picturesque locations is not real camera footage – it is an amazing project by 3D Artist Daniel Vesterbaek, who crafted the animation using Blender.

The short movie, titled Elation, is an experimental project created almost entirely with the said software, from simulations to compositing. Daniel Vesterbaek shared some technical details of setting up these captivating scenes and achieving such a level of realism. For example, the creator explained that the headlights and flares are spot lamps with some "caustics" EXR textures that he rendered using LuxCore. The close-up shot of the back window part with the rain running over it was rendered in Eevee.
