A Stunning Sci-Fi Short About A Russian Cyberpunk Farm

This amazing project by birchpunk mixes cyberpunk aesthetics with Russian spirit.

The birchpunk studio, a team of artists from Russian, shared their new project that tells a story about a farm in the future. The farm is swarmed with robots and new technologies but the spirit hasn't changed. The short is filled with easter eggs for both Russian viewers and western audiences: the team, for example, paid a tribute to a comedy film Love and Pigeons by Vladimir Menshov and Kin-dza-dza! by Georgiy Daneliya.

"They say that Russia is a technically backward country, there are no roads, robotics do not develop, rockets do not fly, and mail goes too long. It’s a bullshit," states the description.

You can find the team's channel here and VK group there. Make sure to watch the full short and discuss it in the comments.
