Save time on repetitive modeling tasks with this cool tool.
Have a look at Face Cutter, a useful modeling tool that will help you cut faces in Blender easily. The plugin allows users to cut perpendicular lines on selected faces by defining snapping points – you simply need to set the number of divisions (snapping points), then cut by lines. You can also use the ability to cut through the whole mesh with the help of Blender's Knife projection API.
Features:
- Set the number of divisions (snapping points), then cut with lines
- Cut through the whole mesh with Blender's Knife projection API
- Define a line with two points
- Rotate a line
- Align a line to a nearby edge
To apply a basic cut, you can select an edge, set "cutting lines" on the snapping point, or anywhere. You can increase the number of snapping points by pressing Ctrl and scrolling with the mouse wheel. After setting the cutting points, press the Q key to execute cutting.
