A Turn-Based Tactical Game Lets You Pilot Giant Mechs

Featuring deckbuilding elements and destructible environments, ARC SEED is developed by a dev from Portugal.

Have a look at ARC SEED, a project where you will face interstellar Archangels in a turn-based tactical game with deckbuilding elements and destructible environments. Players will have to pilot powerful mechs to save the Earth from destruction.

You will start each run of the game by picking a pilot and mech. You will also need to prepare the city's defenses and equipment by tweaking your deck with offensive and defensive abilities.

The game will be available in Early Access on Steam. The developer plans to use this time to balance its turn-based gameplay with the help of feedback from players. The dev plans to "fine-tune the game to create the best game it can be."

The game should be in Early Access from 3 months to 6 months – the page says it depends on the feedback and the amount of features requested.

When the full game launches, the developer promises to add more pilots to choose from, at least 100 cards with more weapons, equipment, and special cards, more enemies and final boss battles, plus night-time maps.

You can learn more and add the game to your wishlist on Steam. In case you're looking for other games to try, Cocoon, a new puzzle game from Jeppe Carlsen, the Lead Gameplay Designer of Limbo and Inside, is just around the corner.
