The update adds Motion Library with over 350 full-body character animations.
In case you missed it
Previous version
Adobe has released Character Animator 23.0, a new version of the motion capture and puppet-style animation software. The update is pretty small and adds the Motion Library – a collection of more than 350 full-body character animations captured by professional motion actors.
The animations include moves that were difficult to animate: dancing ranging from ballet to hip-hop, sports actions from basketball to bowling, as well as walking, running, and jumping.
Character Animator allows you to control the movements, their speed and orientation and provides tools to easily animate any character.
Its Starter mode is free to use on Windows 10+ and macOS 11.0+ if you have an Adobe account, the full version is available via Adobe’s All Apps subscriptions, which cost $82.49/month or $599.88/year.
