Adobe has released Substance 3D Sampler 4.3, the latest version of its picture-to-3D material and photogrammetry software. The update comes with several handy features, and the most prominent of them is texture generators.
They give advanced control over material creation using parametric noises, patterns, and grunge options. The generated results can be used in masks or channel maps, making collaboration easier than ever.

Adobe has also added new materials to Sampler, "to better meet the needs of industrial design workflows, fashion workflows, and technical artists working in media and entertainment." And if your materials are distorted, use the Perspective Crop tool to remove perspective artifacts and get a tileable asset.

Other changes include the Stylization filter to give your materials a hand-painted look as well as improved stitching precision and support of up to 8 colors in the Embroidery filter. Moreover, the Fill filter now has Blend modes, allowing you to multiply the value, the input maps, or the texture generators of the Fill with the channel results of the layers below.
