Aggressive NPC Driver Terrorizes Forza Horizon 6 Players
Bowie Knife99 is the new urban legend.
Bowie Knife99 is proof that we need NPCs with more personality. In Forza Horizon 6, online play isn't mandatory, but when enabled, players share the same world with others, and that's where things get interesting. Recently, stories about a player named Bowie Knife99, someone seemingly committed to ruining everyone's day, have been spreading across the community. Their behavior ranges from relatively harmless competition to more aggressive moves, like knocking other players off the track and causing serious crashes.
Bowie Knife99 is a Drivatar, an AI-controlled NPC mimicking the driving behavior of real players and making races feel more challenging, a feature that has been part of the Forza series for years. No one has identified the real person behind this Drivatar so far, though, and it's unclear if they're as aggressive as their in-game counterpart. They're kind of Herobrine's cousin.
Clips of encounters with Bowie Knife99 have been spreading all over the internet:
Simply accepting this behavior isn't in the spirit of racing, so players have started pushing back, ramming Bowie Knife99 into barriers and forcing them off the road whenever they can:
They're like a mirror version of Let Me Solo Her, and although evil, Bowie Knife99's behavior has ended up bringing the playerbase together.
