RADiCAL launches a new AI-powered mocap tool to virtualize real-time 3D humans.
RADiCAL, the AI-powered tech created in 2017, was part of a new wave of AI-trained motion-capture platforms which, by extracting the actor's movements from single-camera video footage, exported the animation in the FBX format, enabling compatibility with DCC apps or game engines.
This time, RADiCAL launches RADiCAL Live, a new cloud-based tech that, as promised by the creators, allows users to extract full-body motion from video footage and export it to Unreal Engine, Unity, Maya, Blender, and others.
Also, in an effort to streamline its pricing, RADiCAL provides both RADiCAL Live and the offline mocap service, RADiCAL Core, through a single $96/year subscription.
The creators ensure that RADiCAL Live offers the most comprehensive end-to-end deployment of AI technology. With just a device capable of streaming video and running a web browser, users can now virtually project themselves in real-time.
