Alawar has announced Beholder: Conductor, a spin-off of the dystopian game where you report your neighbors to the government. This time, you can spy on train passengers to get rewards from the Ministry and ensure your own sweet life at others' expense.

You have been appointed senior conductor of the legendary train, which all the citizens of our vast country are happy to see in their cities. Your responsibilities are maintaining order in the carriage assigned to you and providing assistance to passengers along the way. Your tools are reporting, intimidation, searches and ejection. Remember: the conductor is always right."

The announcement trailer doesn't offer any details, but it looks like the idea stays the same: you need to keep an eye on passengers and your colleagues and report any misbehavior. The Ministry has all kinds of tasks for you, and rules change every day, so you'll have to decide who you're going to be – a faithful government dog with hardly any principles or a compassionate citizen who thinks of a way out. Can you combine the two, please everyone, and stay human? There's only one way to find out.
