Alexey Vanzhula's Modeler 2026 For Houdini Now Available
This release brings new features for PolyPen, along with several other additions.
The newest version of the mesh editing toolkit for Houdini by Alexey Vanzhula has been released, bringing major enhancements for both hard-surface and organic modeling workflows.
The PolyPen tool received special focus in this update. It now supports real-time symmetry and introduces many improvements requested by users. New capabilities include screen-space cutting, interactive edge extrusion, and the ability to delete all geometry associated with a UV island in one click.
Modeler 2026 adds a new Draw Cards feature, allowing you to create geometry cards in the viewport. It also adds a Bezier Deform tool, enabling mesh surface deformation by shaping a curve.
The Mirror Deform tool has been updated to respect global symmetry settings and now supports masks. There's also a new Layers panel, allowing users to organize geometry into separate layers for easier management.
