3D Artist Virendra Kumar, also known as CG DASH, renowned for the outstanding 2D-style Blender animations, unveiled this wonderful anime-style setup crafted with the software.
The artist compared the WIP and the final versions, showing that the scenes inspired by the 2D Japanese animation are actually three-dimensional. Virendra Kumar created an appealing animation with vibrant and clear visuals. The setup tells a story, depicting a character's morning routine and giving the impression that it is the beginning of an animated movie or a series episode.
Virendra Kumar said that the 2D style render was made using the settings of camera and shape keys and advised adjusting a character or object with shape keys to get good visuals from the camera angle. The artist shared other technical details in the comments to the Reddit post.
