AMD announced the release of Ryzen Pro 6000 Series processors for business laptops, which use Zen 3+ cores and integrated RDNA 2 graphics.
The chips will offer up to 8 cores and 16 threads. Ryzen Pro 6000 comes with two series: H, which goes up to 45W, and U, which is limited to 28W.
AMD claims the processors can increase CPU performance by up to 10% at 15W or up to 30% at 28W. As for GPU, they are able to make it 50% and 110% faster, respectively.
When it comes to the battery life, AMD promises that Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U can run video playback for 29 hours, which is a pretty impressive claim.
You will be able to see Ryzen Pro 6000 Series in Lenovo's upcoming ThinkPad Z, which will exclusively come with Ryzen 7 Pro 6860Z, and HP EliteBook G9.
The systems should launch in Q2 of 2022. Find out more on AMD website and don't forget to join our new Reddit page, our new Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
