Among Us VR Has Sold Over 1 Million Copies

The game has hit the milestone in less than three months of its release.

The VR version of the social deduction video game Among Us has sold over 1 million copies since its November 2022 release.

The developers announced the new milestone on Steam along with sharing some statistics on the game. According to it, since the game's launch, users played the game more than 4 million times, with an average of 44,000 matches held per day, and spent over 89,100,000 minutes on tasks, sabotages, and betrayal.

In addition, the developers boasted Among Us VR's diverse player base noting that players joined the game from 122 different countries.

Among Us VR replicates the team-based gameplay of betrayal from the original game where players are tasked with completing objectives aboard a starship, all the while keeping an eye out for the one impostor on board, who is constantly scheming to kill off the crew.

The game was developed by the creator of the original Among Us creator, Innersloth, in cooperation with Schell Games and Robot Teddy. It is available for Quest 2 and PC VR headsets.
