An Adorable Exploration Game Where You Play as a Cute Little Kitten

Explore a stylized city and do cat stuff in this upcoming title from Double Dagger Studio.

If you enjoyed playing Stray in 2022 and, like many others, considered it to have the best premise and gameplay ever, here's an upcoming game you definitely won't want to miss. Check out Little Kitty, Big City, an absolutely adorable exploration game with a non-photorealistic visual style being developed by Double Dagger Studio, an indie gamedev team led by veteran Game Developer Matt T. Wood.

In this game, you assume the role of a curious young kitten on a mission to find its way back home. On your way home, you'll have the opportunity to wander through the stylized city, befriend other stray animals, try on a variety of quirky hats, and engage in a multitude of playful and mischievous feline activities.

"A peaceful catnap turns into a whimsical adventure," reads the game's official description. "Will you make your way home or will you explore what the big city has to offer first? I mean, getting home is obviously your main priority. Obviously. Well, it's one of your priorities. Maybe more of a guideline... It's definitely on your To-Do list somewhere! But first? Exploration!"
