The system allows one to draw realistic blueprints on a digital drafting board.
Chris West, a renowned Game Developer with over 37 years of experience in the field, has recently demonstrated a test version of Tubbys Drawing Board, an absolutely mind-blowing drafting table and blueprint drawing system that allows one to draw realistic-looking diagrams and sketches in digital space.
Set up in Unity, the system takes a 3ds Max shape file and runs a compiler on the splines, with the result driving the drafting table movements and controlling the pencils, compass, and other tools to draw out the blueprint. According to the developer, the system also supports French curve tools.
