An Extremely-Realistic Head Scan Model

3D Artist and Director of 3D Scan Store James Busby shared an absolutely astonishing real-time preview of a new human head scan that will soon be available via the aforementioned store. The model looks ultra-realistic and boasts incredible attention to detail, with even the tiniest of skin pores and hairs being visible if you are to zoom in

According to James, the head itself is a low-resolution model with an 8K Normal Map and some Micro Maps. The creator also commented that the level 1 head mesh is about 20k polygons and the level 7 mesh is around 50 million polygons.
