An Upcoming Quake Revitalized Has Been Leaked Before QuakeCon 2021

It is, however, unknown yet whether it will be a remake, reboot, or remaster.

A Quake Revitalized leak has revealed that a possible remaster, remake, or even reboot of the original Quake is on the way from Wolfenstein developer MachineGames. According to the leak, the game will be revealed on August 19, 2021, during a QuakeCon At Home event. This leak is not the only source that can confirm an upcoming Quake Revitalized. Back in June, Shpeshal Nick stated that it was coming and MachineGames was involved. A few days later, a mysterious id Software game called ‘Project 2021B‘ appeared on the Australian rating site.

The QuakeCon 2021 will open with a celebration of Quake’s 25th anniversary with creators id Software and current Wolfenstein developer MachineGames. Kevin Cloud and Marty Stratton from id Software and Jerk Gustafsson from MachineGames will discuss the impact and legacy of the original Quake on its 25th anniversary. Presumably, Quake Revitalized will be officially announced during this opening speech.
