The illustrator has already gathered $62K on Kickstarter.
If you are a fan of spaceships or if you're just creating a space-related project and looking for references, here's an upcoming book you should definitely check out. Meet Kepler’s Intergalactic Guide to Spaceships, a soon-to-be-released "part comic, part art book" created by Illustrator and 2D Artist Jake Parker. The book is said to contain hundreds of various sketches, finished renders, and cross-sections related to spaceship designs created by Jake.
"The book will be beautifully printed by a 4-color offset printing press. It will be a softcover, perfect-bound book that will fit nicely with the other books in my DRAWINGS series. It will hold a comprehensive collection of both finished and exploratory artworks from the last 10 years of most of the spaceships I’ve drawn," comments the author.
At the time of writing this, the book has already amassed $62K on Kickstarter, even though the artist only asked for $7.5K. You can learn more about the book, the artist, and the release date here.
