An Update on Capcom's Upcoming Dragon's Dogma II

The studio has shared more information about its upcoming single-player action-RPG.

During the Capcom Showcase 2023 event, Capcom provided a comprehensive update on Dragon's Dogma II, an upcoming single-player action-RPG and a sequel to the 2012 Dragon's Dogma, first unveiled at PlayStation Showcase 2023.

As part of the presentation, Game Director Hideaki Itsuno spoke about the game's combat and gameplay mechanics, characters and creatures, Pawns, AI-powered companions designed to make the player feel as if they are being accompanied by other players, and more, providing an in-depth look at Dragon's Dogma II's features.

Additionally, Itsuno announced that the sequel will be powered by Capcom's proprietary RE ENGINE, promising a world to be approximately four times larger than its predecessor, featuring a plethora of enemies, events, and locations rendered with the latest graphical advancements.

Dragon's Dogma II is being developed for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. You can learn more about the upcoming sequel by clicking this link.
