Anatomically-Correct Dinosaur Model Made for a Game

Hashbane Interactive has shared a sizeable gallery demonstrating an accurate Coelophysis model they created for Instinction.

Over the past week, game development studio Hashbane Interactive shared a large gallery of behind-the-scenes shots, demonstrating an anatomically-accurate model of Coelophysis they created for Instinction, an upcoming UE5-powered action-adventure game set in a prehistoric world.

Throughout multiple threads shared via Twitter, the team provided an extensive look at the new model, demonstrating dozens of WiP shots, lighting shots, turntables, test with SubSurface Scattering, and more, showcasing the dinosaur's realistic model and textures. According to the developers, all of the shots were captured in Unreal Engine 5.

Below are some of the renders shared by Hashbane, you can check out the full collection by visiting the studio's Twitter page:

Last year, we also spoke to Hashbane Interactive's Courtney O'Neill, who spoke about creating natural environments and dinosaurs for Instinction, told us about the game's core gameplay mechanics, and explained why Unreal Engine 5 was chosen for the title.
