Anime-Style RPG Ananta Will Be Featured at Tokyo Game Show

The upcoming game is mixing urban environments with anime aesthetics.

The upcoming anime-inspired urban RPG Ananta, developed by Naked Rain, will be presented at Tokyo Game Show 2025.

This year's TGS, an annual video game festival, will be held on September 25-28 in the Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan. Ananta, a promising RPG that blends urban style with amazing graphics, is listed in the General Exhibition Area.

Currently, TGS2025 features 772 exhibitors with 4,083 booths, exceeding last year's record of 3,252 booths, which makes the 2025 event the largest in its history. The featured games include brand-new releases, esports games, AR and VR titles, and blockchain games. You can check out the list of exhibitors here.

Ananta, previously codenamed Project Mugen, is an open-world game in which players travel across various cities, uncover strange events in local neighborhoods, and resolve urban crises through real-time combat.
